Lindsay's straightforward opening panics Michaels' attorney, Anderson Pearson, into offering a large settlement. Meanwhile, accused strangler Ronald Martin is set free. Gerald Braun, father of the deceased, kills Martin. Jimmy and Martin's rabbi, appear on a televised primetime discussion program to debate Martin's lawyer.
